12 months ago, a group of doctors approached Medibank Private because they wanted to change the way healthcare is delivered and the concept of Adeney Private Hospital emerged.
It is a joint venture between these two groups. The hospital is majority owned by the doctors, providing, high quality, affordable healthcare. It will be the first hospital in Australia that aims not to charge insured patients any out of pocket expenses, across all specialities
It is a short stay hospital, where both the prehab and rehab care are to be delivered outside the hospital, providing continuity for patients when they are discharged.
Well-known and respected CEO, Louise O’Connor is at the helm, and in her usual fashion she is keen to develop a team that share her passion and vision. Her priority is a patient connected approach, uniting staff who are an integral part of the team. She wishes to value and cultivate staff to understand that each individual within the organization is important to provide optimal care.
The goal is to open the hospital early 2024 and we are looking for expressions of interest for staff so that we can develop the team who share this dream with us, and wish to come along for the journey.
